Sweet’n’Raw’s Sweet Dreams: THE TOP

Another weekend has gone by and I’m just three weeks away form my beloved, Mexican soil. In my last post, I told you about the our new trend series, it’s all about the pajama. This season, the designers’ take on this trend is nothing like the lady (ok, me) that used to go to the supermarket, praying not to run into anyone, in a pair of flannel Mafalda pants, a sweatshirt bigger than a Circus tent and a some knitted booties with an ethnic print. How many of you are gasping right now? Pajama street wear can be sophisticated and posh, it can also be casual and chic. Proof of that are the hundreds of Pajama-inspired garments that I have seen in almost every retail store. From pants and shorts to the cutest, little jackets, I have decided to start this series with the sleeveless top. First of all, let’s see what you can find online.

BOTTOM: Mango / DAY Birger et Mikkelsen / Mango

PAJAMA TOP LOOK

Stripes and floral print are a combo that definitely works for me. I wanted to stick with soft colors and add some navy for an unexpected twist. The accessories contrast with the feminine look. What do you think? Are you gonna try it out?

Now you know it, pajamas are not always frumpy. Now I’m off to prepare some chips and beer, it’s EURO 2012 time. Let Italy beat the crap out of Spain (after all, I am Milanese by choice).

Sweet’n’happy Sunday!

Sweet kisses…
